Want to get to know me?
I LOVE pizza, warm right out of the oven chocolate chip cookies, coffee (it's a MUST), sassy little kids, design, my family & of course PHOTOGRAPHY :)
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've had a love for photography since I can remember. Where ever I went I always had my camera. Now I focus on families and children. I enjoy the challenge of capturing their personalities and the mood of the photo shoot. When some may think photographing children is difficult, I find it exciting and worth while. Since I had my daughter I have enjoyed capturing the moments and laughter even more so.

Pictures are about capturing those moments you don't want to forget!

"Children show me in their playful smiles the divine in everyone. The simple goodness shines straight from their hearts and only asks to be lived."

“I could just eat him”

C-man was so GOOD and as mom would say “I could just eat him” hah I love it! I love newborn shoots, they are very rewarding. They are very time consuming and take a lot of patience but sooooo worth it! I just recently started having newborns come to me rather than going to their house. It allows me to have more control and I have been very please with it:)Just another reason why I NEED a natural light studio… maybe someday…. I am not sure which is my favorite, the sibling shot or the family shot, thank you B for being such a good big sister!

puppy heaven

And the holiday sessions begin… how cute are these pups?!

stunning bride

I don’t think I need to say anymore…

So much love to give

This family has so much love to give it is incredible. They are close friends of ours and I am so thankful to have them in our lives. They asked me to a family session before moving– we miss you guys!

fun fam for sure

This family had lots of fun ideas and came prepared:)Such an enjoyable afternoon with the ‘P’ family!!

Happy Halloween

4 generations

What I would give to get a photo like this for myself… 4 generations of pure goodness.

Love is in the air

Gorgeous couple and TOTALLY in LOVE! One of my FAVORITE shoots, I should do more like these. Do you agree??

Four soon to be Five

Oh how I love these 2 little boys, they will be heart breakers before their parents know what hit them:)Great family, great light, great state– MONTANA!

adorable family, lovely lighting

What more can I ask for…. this family so was cute and the lighting was AMAZING:)

cousins galore

Anna and Ella’s cousins in Montana… love capturing all their personalities:)

Polson Wedding

Close friends of ours got married this summer, I did not photograph the actual wedding but I did snap just a FEW quick shots… what an AMAZING WEDDING. If I could redo my wedding it would be a lot like theirs. Congrats again guys!!

jimmy-rigged camera stand

I can’t even explain how ridiculous the process of taking this was…. but it was WELL WORTH IT! I miss you all and love you very much:)If you haven’t figured it out it is a self portrait of my family and I.

Family is EVERYTHING!

Family is everything, whether it is your parents, sibling, spouse or children. What fun this family was to photograph, they really knew how to make each other laugh and such a witty sense of humor. It was a lovely evening with some pretty lovely people:)‘R’ also wanted some head shots for her business, stunning right?!!!!

I love when families bring their A-game to shoots…

Miss you guys!

The M-Family are dear friends of ours, and we sure miss them. Mom wanted to do a session to surprise dad with before his deployment:)I created mini accordion books with some of these photogs and it turned out adorable! SO much fun capturing the love of the PLANES and their mommy! This family is so strong and supportive of daddy, we miss you all….

Look at those eyes!

Seriously look at those BEAUTIFUL EYES, both sets!

what are the odds?

What are the odds that theses TWIN sisters would be pregnant at the same time, let alone have their babies on the SAME day. No I am not making this up, pretty wild huh?! I have the pleasure to photograph this family frequently and then her sister and parents came into town as well. I captured ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY:)They are all very close and you can really tell they enjoy being able to get together once in awhile. Being in the military can make it difficult to see family, but the B-Family seems to make it a priority to visit the fam a decent amount of time… I’m jealous! Here are a couple of my favorites from the shoot.

Oh where do I start…

Oh where do I start… well I should first apologize for abandoning my blog and only using facebook to post recent shoots. This year has been nuts, with having Anna, Hubby has been gone literally almost the entire year, traveling to Montana for a month, living in SPAIN for a month, Ella starting preschool and the busiest part of the year the HOLIDAY SESSION (which is going on RIGHT NOW). Oh and we found out we are MOVING in the spring…. Can I just say YIKES! With that being said I am about to start back tracking and show off some of my favorite photogs from this past late summer and fall.

My goal for the next year is to stay on top of blogging, it really isn’t hard, just have to get in a routine. I blogged everyday my husband was deployed this fall and I guess I put more time into MY family rather than my business this year…. but I have still been PLENTY BUSY with sessions!

So come along and catch up with what I have been up to as of late… Thanks for reading and please start following my blog again:)I feel like I have really found MY style and what direction I want my business to go, such a great feeling and of course now I am moving in just a few short months. I have BIG plans for our next destination though so stay tuned for all the updates!!

Congrats D!!

I had so much fun at this shoot, D is graduating from college so she was in need of some grad pics and announcements. After talking about the shoot I had decided we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take some pup shots. They are the biggest most adorable dogs ever and they are her babies, especially right now since her hubby is deployed. Thanks again D, I always have so much fun with your shoots:)

Congrats on graduation, such an achievement :)
